Phone 6 get glory, but Apple Pay may be the real big deal

Apple on Tuesday introduced its newest iPhones and its first wearable, the Apple Watch. The new devices have gotten all of the buzz, but many analysts say Apple Pay, the company's new mobile-payments service, could be the real game changer.
They also largely applauded the new devices and said they could drive Apple's biggest year ever.

The Cupertino, Calif., company on Tuesday introduced theiPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, its new, bigger screen smartphones. The iPhone 6 sports a 4.7-inch display, up from the 4-inch screen in the iPhone 5S. The 6 Plus includes a 5.5-inch display, putting it firmly in the category of phablet, or phone-tablet hybrid.

Camera Pill Technology

Camera pill technology set to ease cancer diagnosis

Colonoscopies can be an uncomfortable procedure for patients who may already be worried about what the results may find. The process involves probing the large intestine with a tiny fibre optic camera, known as an endoscope, embedded in a 4ft long, flexible tube.
As well as colon cancer, colonoscopies can be used to detect and diagnose a whole host of diseases, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and Crohn's disease.

The procedure itself is not only uncomfortable and expensive, it can also be ineffective at spotting smaller tumours – leading to misdiagnosis. Around 750,000 incomplete colonoscopies occur each year in the US alone, which means patients often have to undergo an additional procedure, such as an X-ray or CT scan, in order to complete the colorectal examination – incurring extra costs and risks in the process.

It has 5.4 billion transistors and an on-chip network of 4,096 neurosynaptic cores. IBM claims it is the first neurosynaptic chip to achieve 1 million programmable neurons, 256 million programmable synapses, and 46 billion synaptic operations per second.

16 Coolest Things at Biggest Gadget Show

The 16 Coolest Things We Saw at Europe’s Biggest Gadget Show

This year’s IFA—Berlin’s massive end-of-summer consumer electronics show—could have easily mistaken for an edition of the Mobile World Congress. Usually dominated by home appliances and home theater products, all the excitement in the media and in the expo hall was centered around new smartphones and phablets.
Samsung, Huawei, Sony and Microsoft and even ASUS, Haier and Acer have unveiled new mobile products, leaving appliances and PCs behind. Televisions, once the industry’s bread and butter, were just a small presence.
However, wondering around the million and a half square feet of the Messe, we’ve managed to find many products worth mentioning: cooking and cleaning robots, audio equipment, and various gadgets we suddenly felt the urgency to have. And of course, some phones. (OK, a lot of phones.) This is a selection of the best.
